GANDHI Group was founded in 1959 and has been proudly manufacturing automobile components for the last six decades. Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd. was a project set up by The Gandhi Group in technical collaboration with a German based company BENTELER.
BENTELER is a global enterprise renowned for its expertise in developing, manufacturing, and delivering metal-based products, systems, and services across various sectors, including automotive, energy, and engineering. The primary aim of the collaboration was to substitute the imports of small diameter welded and cold drawn seamless steel tubes in India. In this pursuit, all the critical equipment, proprietary machinery and latest technology was supplied by Benteler and imported from Germany .
With the commencement of commercial production in April 1988, Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd. began making significant strides. We not only expanded the applications of our seamless steel tubes and welded tubes but also diversified our product mix to include the manufacturing of coupling nuts. This expansion allowed us to cater to a wider range of industries and bolster our position as a comprehensive provider of tubular solutions.
